Installation of a New Physical Volume
- Create and allocate the disk to the Linux guest on the VMWare Host.
- On the Linux guest, rescan the scsi bus.
- # echo '- - -' > /sys/class/scsi_host/host#
- Review the messages log for the new device name of the disk.
- # tail /var/log/messages
- Follow the PV Install Procedure.
